Specific Objectives of the event:

  • Provide an update on the nature and status of global carbon markets and expectations for the remainder of 2024 and into 2025
  • Provide an update on GoPNG’s carbon market regulations
  • Enhance communication between stakeholders on the needs and opportunities of carbon markets

  • Increased understanding across the government and private sector of the PNG carbon market regulations
  • Enhanced understanding in government of the needs and expectations of private sector actors
